Hello and welcome!

Yes, the .wlt file contains a copy of your private key encrypted with your password.

Not really, only thing that matters is whether the node will harvest 24/7. When it shuts down, you will need to restart harvesting so it is better to find a node that is always online. (i.e. supernodes)
It doesn’t matter in terms of importance and block rewards.
Thanks a lot for very good and quick answers, unfortunately I do have one more.
How can I tell whether a node in the list a supernode or not?

You can’t tell from the NanoWallet nodes list. You can view a list of supernodes at https://supernodes.nem.io/ but you will probably need to browse a few pages before finding one with available slots
