In twitter it was said that one could test mnemonic with mobile wallet - I tried but it just tried to contact something and I couldn’t move forward. I haven’t yet tested Symbol desktop wallet that is made for testnet (I would try it without network connection).
What would be the best way to test my mnemonic that I got from opt-in?
Edit: I tried about 2-3 weeks ago, maybe mobile wallet has been updated?
I tested this on desktop just today. Download the file symbol-desktop-wallet_0.14.1.all.zip
from the release page. Unzip it and access the local file index.html with your browser. Then create a profile for the main net, and enter your mnemonic. It will display information from the test genesis block, that way you can check you have the expected balance too.
when setting up your profile on mainnet why are there multiple accounts to select from once mnemonic is entered?
