Web wallet account access, similar to Stellar Account Viewer or myetherwallet [SOLVED]

Hi everyone,

I’m a holder for 2 years now. But I’m keeping it in my exchange wallet. Back in the old time until now I still find NEM wallets are confusing so I didnt bother to create stand alone wallet. Today, I just decided to explore NEM wallet one more time. I prefer web wallet for I travel a lot–yes, I know the risk–. but it’s for smaller amount needed to be readily send to anywhere. But I couldn’t any web wallet for NEM, which is disappointing. Then I decided to give Nano a try, downloaded and when installiing it said wrong version of Mac OSX. Thats all for it. Then try to look for another option, I found paper wallet. Downloaded from GitHub https://github.com/aenima86/paper-wallet-gen, Installed and run. All seems ok. but I have wondering if this one is legit. I tried to check using NEM explorer, seems ok. But so far I havent tried doing any sending and receiving yet.

Another thing I want to ask, is NEM has anything easier and light weight and simple that can be accessed from web? Something like Stellar Lumes with their light weight wallet Account Viewer, or something like Ethereum with the myetherwallet. With those light weight wallet account access, I can do simple things like checking balance, sending and receiving for my account. Which is mostly i need regarding wallet.

If there’s any like those for NEM, please guide me to it. If there’s none yet similar to those, it would be nice if NEM’s devs consider to provide. Would be super nice.

Sorry for long post.

Thanks a lot for reading.

Cheers!

Hello

  1. Please attach screenshot with error you have in your NanoWallet for Mac.
  2. As a workaround you can use universal client nanowallet (unzip and run start.html in browser): https://github.com/NemProject/NanoWallet/releases/download/2.0.14/NanoWallet-2.0.14.zip

Here you have some tutorial (it’s for windows but it should be pretty same for mac) :

Hi pawelm,

  1. I didnt do screencap, but its not hard to understand. It only said my Mac OSX version is 10.8.5, while it needs 10.9. But I dont want to upgrade as yet concerning the hardware spec, and maybe some probs with new OS that could possibly happen.
  2. I downloaded Nano wallet from the link you gave and run it. That is close to what I’m looking for, pretty light:). Thanks for that. It runs ok on desktop, but will it be ok if I copy all the unzipped including the folder to my phone? And run it anywhere I go when I apart from my computer?

Thanks for replying.

Edit: a word.

Yes. You can do sth like this but you need also your wlt file to import.
Also you need is not so safe to run wallet on computer you don’t know.
There are also Android and IOS wallets.

Thanks pawelm.
