Sorry...that does mean you're fucked :/
That's why we emphasised to double check private-keys.

If I export my wallet and then add a new account to it, will that new account be in the previously exported wallet file too?

no.

@BONZ, Did you try the "ADD AN EXISTING ACCOUNT" option to import your private key?
EDIT: A request to all- First read the OP really really clearly before you input your private key. It will save a lot of people a lot of work and also wont put you in trouble.

Is it safe to backup my wallet to google drive or so? (I have a strong password)

all that waiting =(

ya that adds the account for the address in my sig

Ok…

I installed, opened a new wallet, linked the account with the nem…all fine…

However, it wouldn't go past the booting phase…'Nis needs Booting' etc, but when I try it tells me there's an error as it's already booted…

So, I close the program and relaunch…and I've got no wallet…"Found 0 Wallet"…

Any suggestions?

I saved a zip of the wallet, but what do I do now…???

patmast3r, I sent you a pm on bitcointalk forum about issue

And here…which is where i answered you.

I need to go to sleep now.

HI, I have installed 0.625. have java 8 installed.  I previously had the beta client with my saved wallet.  When I try to open my old wallet using the password which I know is correct, I receive a message, ERROR 121
The address book file does not exist,

any ideas?

??? If you are typing in the private key, check if you are making any mistakes or leaving spaces. If you are copy-pasting, also check for spaces. The private key is of 64 characters- Again count it.
If everything fails, I'm really sorry dude. You should have double and triple checked your private key before launch.

If you've been using webstart version earlier:
kill any running jawa/jawaws processes
Go to java control panel, and hit "View..." (can be run with javaws -viewer)
from "applications" remove both NCC and NIS
to be sure check resources and clean them all (this will cause redownload of everything, which might take a bit,
but should help with most of the problems)
If you've been using installer, run uninstall (or remove via "Programs and Features")

Remove whole c:\users\<username>\nem (or /home/<username>/nem)

Follow the same process suggested to wiralnick. Please read the OP carefully, people. Good night and thanks again for the launch.

Did all of that before I installed the new one.

So, here I am with a big fat fucking 0 where just a few moment there was 2,700,000 nem.

Why is the monitor telling me everything is synchronised, but the display is telling me I need to boot, but when I try to boot it gives me an error telling me it's already booted, but if I try to do anything it tells me I need to boot?

Why has my wallet fucking vanished and how do I get it back?

So, here I am with a big fat f**king 0 where just a few moment there was 2,700,000 nem.

calm down, check you address on nembex: NDACZ36MLPDAZBKA4PH6ILGPYLOK4GL3BR4RVLQB

it has only one incoming transaction so you're fine.

There's probably an issue with address book. I assume you have COPY of your private key, do the following:

    [li]stop nis,ncc,monitor, everything, kill all java/javaws processes[/li]
[li]drop whole c:\users\wirralnick\nem (it will delete your wallet and addressbook and blockchain, everything)[/li]
    [li]start up nis and ncc[/li]
    [li]create NEW wallet[/li]
    [li]import your key again[/li]

Sorry for the inconvenience, we'll try to figure out what's up
