do the old clients save any of the real account data?  the computer i created my real account data on basically hasn't been touched since October when i registered would there be any way to retrieve the info from that computer?  it is a mac using webstart


the client NEVER saved real account data, it was repeated and repeated and repeated...
If you have the data saved and you think you can trust me, you can save me the data (not here, as PMs are not encrypted, I could give you my address)

If I start local harvesting and shutdown my computer/NIS will the harvesting stop instantly?

Did all of that before I installed the new one.

So, here I am with a big fat f**king 0 where just a few moment there was 2,700,000 nem.

Why is the monitor telling me everything is synchronised, but the display is telling me I need to boot, but when I try to boot it gives me an error telling me it's already booted, but if I try to do anything it tells me I need to boot?

Why has my wallet f**king vanished and how do I get it back?

it has only one incoming transaction so you're fine.

There's probably an issue with address book. I assume you have COPY of your private key, do the following:


    [li]stop nis,ncc,monitor, everything, kill all java/javaws processes[/li]
    [li]drop whole c:\users\wirralnick\nem (it will delete your wallet and addressbook and blockchain, everything)[/li]
    [li]start up nis and ncc[/li]
    [li]create NEW wallet[/li]
    [li]import your key again[/li]

I don't understand why I'm on the sockpuppet list. I just registered for one stake at the very beginning of the NEM.

Is it because I don't post on forum very often ?? I read a lot but I write very few.

What should I do to prove that I'm not a sockpuppet ?

I have read the OP and did exactly what it describes.

Deleted old files and software
Installed Java 64 bit version, 8
Succesfully installed NEM client

But, when I click on the .exe file to open it. Nothing happens.
I see it appearing in the list of processes running for a second and dissapears there as well.

Where can I find the log file?

"UNKNOWN": The harvesting status of the account is not known.
"LOCKED": The account is not harvesting.
"UNLOCKED": The account is harvesting.

I just sent a MP to Patmast3r on BTT in order to prove that I'm not a sock. By the way, the final stakeholder list on the 1st page of the BTT thread still show my name.
