Wanted to check whether my understanding about importance is correct. Let’s assume I have (sadly I do not) an account with importance score of 0.01.
Based on my understanding, this means that my probability to harvest a block is 0.0001. Because the block is created ~ each minute, it means that on average in a year I will harvest 1440 * 0.0001 * 365 = 52 blocks.
Is this correct?
Importance of 0.01% means there would be chance 0.0001 of harvesting a block if all importance was harvesting.
In reality not all importance is harvesting.
Here you can see account that is probably harvesting 100% of time and its importance does not change over time:

But last month it harvested 1.1% of blocks.
The reason is, that biggest accounts (funds, exchanges) do not harvest.
Poloniex hotwallet used to harvest, but now it is also not harvesting …
