Hi all. So I keep reading that if I want to send my nem to an exchange I need to add a message? Do I make this message up? Or is it somewhere I need to find? I’m planning on transferring from nem iOS app wallet to chagely.
Also does anyone know what the ENC button does in the app?
The message field is not required everywhere. The exchange you use should show if a message is needed. Its like a ID for them to send your coins to the correct wallet. If i remember correct i never needed a message at changelly, but as said it should be written there if you need it,
I dont use the app, but ENC could stand for encrypt. So normaly you dont need this.

They tell you. Something like: Write this in the message field XXXXXX (They create the message to identify your transaction)

Don’t use encrypted message when sending to exchange (they can’t read it).
Changelly show you what message code should be attached. Without message code changelly doesn’t process transaction automatically.
