I think it’s a huge incentive for people to buy XEM if they can buy something using smart contracts on the NEM platform since smart contracts have many advantages that are not possible with fiat money…
NEM is already smart contract enabled, albeit a centralised one and not a decentralised one. It has an in-app multisig capability to give it a better implementation approach.
Will you be implementing it? We can help you to implement it if you need help.
I hope NEM becomes also a platform for performing smart contracts, like a marketplace for consumers, businesses and investors, but perhaps the assett exchange is going to fulfill that role? How will the NEM asset exchange work in the future?
Asset Exchange doesn’t seem to have a use case. It will take many years for decentralisation to occur. Most businesses are centralised in nature. It makes more sense to look at centralised operations initially. It is easy to create decentralised use cases later as the design is a decentralised design.
What about NXT. their assett exchange is already operating and very important…
Which multinational company is using it that is so important?
Mainly private investors, but according to Marc de Mesel it’s already very important, but you are right, the focus should be bigger than private investors alone…
Focusing on the crypto community is a proven failure. For 7 years, BTC has been doing that but to no avail. It is a lost cause if we follow them. We need to be Blue Ocean in approach.
We should not be followers. We need to be different.
I agree, I think that’s the better approach, NEM is truly unique in many regards, I just hope the devs stay motivated and go all the way…
