New Economy Movement is bravely fighting for the recognition of NEM an official currency of Liberland. By now, NEM has ranked second after Bitcoin, [url=https://forum.ournem.com/general-discussion/urgent-an-unique-chance-for-nem-coin-to-become-number-1-everybody-clic-in/]https://forum.ournem.com/general-discussion/urgent-an-unique-chance-for-nem-coin-to-become-number-1-everybody-clic-in/ . For the complete victory in this competition, NEM should make the micro-state's bureaucracy an offer it can't refuse. I propose to establish a treasury and start minting retail silver coins. After all, NEM already has previous experience in the manufacturing of coins, [url=http://altnemo.com/]http://altnemo.com/ , then it's possible.

Liberland is located on the lands of the former Roman Empire, and for this reason, it can be considered its rightful heir. The basic coin of the Roman Empire was silver Denarius, [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denarius]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denarius .  Initially, it had weight of 4.5 grams, later - 3 grams (1/10 ounces) and provided all the needs of trade, financial exchange, and savings in the vast imperial territory. Moreover, it was the currency of the world around, and along Silk Road, it reached as far as China.

Small silver coin can be very popular in our time. Analysts unanimously say that silver is the most underrated metal and will inevitably become more expensive in the future. I believe, NEM badly underestimated too. Mutual binding undoubtedly will benefit both (just kidding).

A coin design could be as follows. The front side (obverse, eagle): In the centre - the insignia of NEM in a shape of a shield. On the top - a circular inscription, NEW ECONOMY MOVEMENT. At the bottom - the year of issue. The back side (reverse, tails): In the center - Latin inscription, DĒNĀRIUS. Below left - an indication of the content of silver such as Ag .999, to the right - weight, for example, 1/10 OZ.  At the top - a circular inscription, NEM TREASURY. At the bottom - LIBERLAND, if the NEM will be the official currency of the micro-state.

The face value is not needed since the name in Latin means "consisting of ten", and reflected the historical ratio to the copper coin. In our case, we can declare the prospective value of the denarius in 10 XEM, and meanwhile, according to the Treasury, assess the real coin value, for example 10000 XEM / DĒNĀRIUS. This figure should be shown hanging down in the virtual wallets and fluctuate with the price of the XEM to reflect its connection to the real resource of the world, not as sliced fiat colored paper.

If NEM will manage to break into the Liberland market as a currency, the local residents and their guests will have to create virtual wallets and buy the NEM to exchange them for XEM-DĒNĀRIUS to participate in the retail trade. In addition, denarius will be bought up as a souvenir and an excellent investment coins of the undervalued precious metal. It will draw the attention of many people at great advantages of the crypto-currency NEM, extend its use, raise its value, and we will not have to worry about its fate.

Initially, it would be possible to mint ones XEM, which are sent out at harvesting. I think, nobody would have refused to receive their silver. And those who does not want, would be able to sell them. Of course, for this we would need to create an appropriate line in the virtual wallets.

Here is a new development - copper Denarium Bitcoin with a holographic sticker on the back side of the coin [url=https://denarium.com/]https://denarium.com/
It is in a stark contrast with Roman Denarius, which was a respected silver coin and did not need any holograms to prove its worthiness.
I am sure that it is still possible for NEM to inherit such  thousand-year tradition, imperial reliability and power.

PS
A "copper Denarius" is an oxymoron.  It sounds almost like copper silver.
