XYM Balance 0 but mosaic from XEM shows

I opted-in to XYM a while ago and went through the opt-in process fine, or at least so I thought. I have XYM desktop wallet v0.14.1 and when I log in I see the XYM as a mosaic but not an active balance. I can’t change nodes it only give the option of a test node. Thanks for any insight

Please update xym desktop wallet to version 1.0

Ok I just did and now I can’t connect to any nodes

I get a message the wallet cannot monitor your activities etc etc
