XYM mosaic questions!

Hi all, successfully claimed my XYM and now harvesting.

Found I have a XYM mosaic in my wallet called “symbol.xym” is this a generic mosaic that everyone gets?

Yes. That is your xym balance.

Trying to research “Mosaics”, not completely clear on their use!

By the way, how do you harvest. Do you just add your VRF key and choose a node?

The way I think of mosaics is as a reflection of the “assets” you own. That mosaic should reflect the exact amount of tokens you own. Each mosaic is something of value that belongs to you. In this case it just happens to be coins.

Harvesting XYM seems a little different than NEM, had to switch nodes before being accepted.

Already harvested 142 XYM :slight_smile:
