NCC Translation Tool

I update file yesterday and try to download file to my machine today but there just was message File 'bulgarian' was already updated! No changes found!

Thanks for your reply. I have resolved this bug.
It will give you this massage now but also allow you to save the file locally.

If you are in the tool right now you will have to reload the page for my changes to be applied
but before you do this export the file if you had made any changes in your translation.

For bulgarian.js dont give me option to save file locally.

Sorry I forgot to update the correct file online!  8)
Now it should work. Please retry.

I see but that should be ok because writing
alert('bulgarian');
or
alert("bulgarian");
in javascript will give the same result.

Also instead of this <span class="null"><Без маркировка></span>
in js file is this <span class=\"null\">&lt;Без маркировка&gt;</span>

Hello

Thanks for point that out.
I have update the code again in relation to this issue.
The bulgarian output should be the same as english (source) when it comes to html entities that means
if in the english file there is a sign like &lt; the same should be in the bulgarian or any other language.
related to the escaped qoutes:
<span class=\"null\">&lt;Без маркировка&gt;</span>

this is not a problem because having  code like this:

'<span class="null">&lt;Без маркировка&gt;</span>'

can be written like:
"<span class=\"null\">&lt;Без маркировка&gt;</span>"

One thing that i was still have to solve is how to keep the unicode code in the text box
example english.js in line 6:
thousandSeparator: '\u2009',
is converted into
thousandSeparator: ' ',

so this one still remain open.

Please every translator update the language file ASAP: http://nemer.byethost8.com/translator/
After that make a pull request at https://github.com/NewEconomyMovement/NemCommunityClient or send me a link to your language file via pm.

Lithuanian translation done. I'm not familiar with github, so please PM me with e-mail address, I'll send it by e-mail.

If you don't know how to do a pull request, you can pm me the language file/a link to the file or send the file to nemproject@gmx.de. The email will probably land in my spam folder because it has a js file as attachment ^^

Sent export.zip file from translation platform by e-mail.

Could you send me the credentials to the website? I did translate the client to Polish some time ago but I didn't send it. I'd like to translate it again.

Hello
Thanks for reply.
I will add you to the list of translators but before I do I would like to know if you have already some content
translated that you could add to github or share a link so that I can add it to the translation tool,
otherwise you will have to translate everything from zero.

Bye.

@freigeist: Spider already submitted his polish translation and I have added it to github.

Super thanks.
I looked there before you have done that i haven't checked recently.
I have pulled the file into the tool and created and account for Spider.

Bye.

@freigeist: i would like to make some proposals regarding to your tool's workflow, pls let me know if they're feasible and what you think about them
Here's the workflow that I expect:

The admin tool:
- Whenever the source english.js file has changes, the admin logs in and update the source file like we do now, but instead of having to paste the full URL to the file, admin just has to choose the branch name where the english.js is the most up to date, from that branch name, the tool probably can generate the full URL to the raw file. This saves admins from having to open github, do dozens of clicks to navigate to the source file everytime. It would be even better if your tool can retrieve the list of available branches from github and let admin select one from a dropdown box.

- When the source file is updated, the tool automatically updates all language files to reflect the changes in the file structure (if any). It should first retrieve the language files from the same branch as the just-updated english.js, then re-build them according to the source file structure. With each field in source file, if the translation is already there in the destination file, it will be kept, if not then the english version from the source file is used by default to ensure no field is missing. The admin then can download them all (except the source file). Those re-built files is also kept on the tool's server so that translators can do translations on the most updated version.

- Also whenever the source file is updated, translators should receive an email notifying about the change.

The translator tool:
- When receiving the email, translators should log into the tool and make the translation. When translation is done, the result file is generated (should beware double quotes, single quotes, and encoding/character escapes) save on the server and can be downloaded. If possible, it'll the best if the tool can automatically make pull requests to github.

- If possible, the tool should keep track of source file changes and file versions, so that translators can see the new/edited fields highlight when they do translations.

Pls leave your thoughts here
