NCC Translation Tool

Thanks! I will take a look at the german translation soon.

I'm done with the French Translation. It's been a while, do I need to export the file and update it in GitHub or does it work automatically. The first page does says you don't need to mess with GitHub, but I got a faint memory of my uploading it, so I want to be sure  ;D

Hello.

Upadating github does not work automatically.
You do not need to mess around github if you don't know how.
I have written this because neither I do not like to mess with it :)
Just make the export and then send this link [url=http://beta-test.tk/data/french/export.zip]http://beta-test.tk/data/french/export.zip
or the file itself to one of the developers,  maybe BloodyRookie or Krysto and they will add it to github.

btw, to all translators out there: we're gonna try to make some clean ups there not to have multiple copies of same texts in multiple places, all the fixes needed will hopefully happen automagically.

Good, waiting in order to update translations. Previous systems was not translator friendly.  :)

That is some great news.

PS: I have exported my version to http://beta-test.tk/data/french/export.zip

Thanks

I'm not hearing back from the Dutch translator. I still would like to apply if necessary.

Hi Microove,

Sorry.
I was away as well  :), so I didn't see your PM.

I have sent you a PM with details how to approach this. I think it's best to just use the Github functionality; create a branch, make the Dutch language .js better and create a pull-request.

Ok, I think we can switch to translators' phase for now.

btw: logs/ subdir is there to help you.

OK.
I have updated the files in the translation tool with latest master.
Have fun!!

BTW: the I have done the latest translation, please download from here:

Latest Dutch & russian version?

Latest Dutch & russian version?

Yes i have imported  all latest language files from master branch on github.
I think you have access for translating Russian language in the translation tool
so you can start whenever you want ;)

If you never used the tool I suggest that you read the "HELP" by clicking the link on top before start
any translations.

Let me know If you have any questions or you need any help with the tool.

Have fun! ;)

I have updated latest translation in Finnish.

Had some interesting moments with new words…

Hi @freigeist & @boestin

I want to update the Dutch version, but am not sure how to. I need login codes to get in to the translation tool.

Hello Microove

I can give you access to the tool but then you need to coordinate translations with
boestin because the tool does not have a file locking option implemented.
That means if both of you are doing the translation at "same" time
the last user that saves the changes will overwrite the changes of the other user.

You can tranaslate only the content that I import from github into the tool
and lately there were no changes to the source language files or meybe there were but
I haven't been informed from gimre already for a longer period.

Let me know if you are still interested and I will create the user account for dutch lang.
Thanks.

I copied The text from github and changing it now , because I can't seem to save the text which I changed. Which was a lot, because I think boestin used google translate. This wasn't a good translation to say the least.

Do you have telegram? Then maybe you could help me through the process, because i don't really understand this!

Hello.

I thought that boestin is a native dutch speaker :-/
Using google translate is not the best way to do a translation.
I'm using it too but just as a help to find some words and not translate the whole sentences completely.

I gave you access to translate the dutch text.
You can access the tool with same credentials that you use for Russian.
Once logged into the tool please read the HELP before you start doing  any translation.
This should give you some more info how to use the tool.

I'm not on telegram yet so you can PM to me or post in this thread if you have problems using the tool.
If you are not sure how or what to to contact me please.

Thanks.

First I'll edit in word. Then I will replace the whole text when I'm done! I'm sure he's not native because I see how the grammar is used and that sometimes English words are in sentences! I didn't use the Russian one yet. First working on Dutch!

Not sure what tool you use, but can use a cloud software such as MemSource and than you wont have this problem. Afte the translator completed the translation it will be locked and the proofreader will be notified to make make changes. You can't overwrite each others efforts with such tool :P

Hello.

They (we) use a simple custom tool that I have developed just this purpose
to handle the translation text in requirejs format in which the language files are stored.

Thanks for the link I did not know about this platform.
There are some other too which I was aware of like
