As I know, I’m not alone. It is my home PC. I can understand responsiveness, ping, or bandwidth tests are failed, but version…
@martismartis: failing version test simply means that the node did not respond to the request. There seems to be some internet connection problems lately, at least my nodes in Australia and Singapore are doing worse than they did a week ago.
Well, maybe was some glitch from my side. All other rounds are passing smoothly.
When is the increase in rewards coming? Bigger reward = more interest in running nodes = lots buying nem to get the 3 miilion required = nem price rising. Win win
@meyns: nis and servant show that the public key for node penter which corresponds to your key in the config is
4a253b1e4295880dfe5b9cc968d447f604ebc99692aaed496395b758e323f791
But that is not the key you gave to me.
That is why I am still seeing in the log:
INFO couldn’t verify response from node 'penter ’
BloodyRookie, I’m sorry I pasted the delegated private key instead of the public key.
Should I start over?
@meyns, i will again deactivate the node and add another db entry, this time with the correct public key from above.
Edit: done
Thanks Bloody!
It was running, but I restarted everything. Let´s see…
@owner of node ninja2016: seems either nis and servant are not running or the ports are not open, please fix!
And again this Version Thing…
Not sure what to do…
I just tried the ctl.io but failed, was too complicated for me (I followed the Instructions, but nothing happened. Seems too overload for a noob like me.)
I think I will follow the “command Line Tutorial…”. That´s the Kind of copy/paste I did a lot since I´m around in Cryptos.
Hoe long does it take on average until a new Node is accepted by the System? My new VPS is running for 36 hours now but still failing most tests.
It´s 191 teletobi2.
Your servant on teletobi2 is not running or the port is not open.
the registered ip for your node does not match the ip for ninja2016.dynu.com.
If that domain should be used for your node you should:
- edit 2 entries in the nis config.properties file:
nem.host = ninja2016.dynu.com
nis.ipDetectionMode = Disabled - reboot nis
- send a “change message” from the account you used to enroll to the node rewards register account. See explanation in the very first post of this thread.
Edit: i saw that you tried to enroll with the new domain. i changed it manually in the db. So you only need to adjust the nis config.properties and then restart nis.
