NEM Supernode Rewards Program

you are good to go now. you can move and move and move but just make sure that the host name points to your new IP each time.

I canā€™t understand why my node keeps failing all the tests.

NIS and servant are up:

http://95.183.51.17:7890/node/extended-info

Servant is responding to queries:

What else can I check?

Found it: wrong keyā€¦ sorry

Iā€™m afraid Iā€™m in the same case as ryan_Todd. Can I do the same thing and send a message with the domain name to the account you mentioned?

sure, tell me the node name again in the message too please.

Done.

@garp: I updated the database.

@BloodyRookie Thanks. Great service :wink:

I ran a nem node on amazon for a year and had to restart nis every now and then as it used to slow down and stop. Is this still necessary to do with the current version?. No problems so far, I was just wondering

I have not been having to restart NIS.

Sorry @BloodyRookie I need your helpā€¦

Iā€™ve double checked everything but my node still fails: http://supernodes.nem.io/details/36

Just an idea: Iā€™ve sent the enrolment message twice because I had to change IP. Is that system still testing the old IP address?

I restarted the master. Letā€™s see if it helps. Strangely the tests involving the servant are ok, but all tests involving nis failā€¦

@rigel, can you supply the servant and nis log for the node rigel7?

@rigel: what are the specs of your vps? i tried a few request directly from the master node and there was always a huge delay until it was answered. Not sure if there is some connection problem from master to your node.
Normal ping seems to be disabled on rigel.

Short question; occasionally my node doesnā€™t pass the version test. Last fail was in round 301, my node is goliath. Iā€™m working on my balance and the connection, the fail is normal there ^^

I have: 1GB RAM, 2 GB swap, 1 2.6 GHZ core vps on a vmware server.
Load average is usually below 0.1.
It looks responsive from command line.
Ping is blocked by a basic anti-DOS service.

Failing the node version test about 1 out of 3. I donā€™t see a reason for this behavior. Is the connection for your vps instable?

1GB is on the lower end. How much RAM do you give to the NIS process?

It is no VPS, my connection is a 30/6 vdsl without forced disconnections. It seems very stable too;
Connection established: 12 days, 0:24:24
