Passive income generation for XYM and NEM token holders

I have two questions please.

  1. Can someone provide information on how to use NEM and XYM tokens to create a passive income? If there is such a thing then pleas share a video or a tutorial on how to achieve this for a low tech skilled person.

  2. What is a node? and how can i generate/mine a node? what are its uses?

Mining might be best? Though I think nem can’t be mined.
