I found some old files called
ZIP File NanoWallet-1.3.12 – Apostille TX (followed by a bunch of #s and letters)

i cant open last two for some reason, it could be the chromebook again.

Did you restore from itunes or icloud backup?
Did you get account backup (qr code or private key) as is in instruction when creating wallet?

don’t have a copy of icloud backup before app crash

I guess you have the same problem as I do, have you resolve yours yet?

hi there,
sorry for the delay.
i will explain my case and then you tell me if it is useful for you.
i lost my iphone some weeks ago and with it the private key to my NEM account.
when i downloaded the app in the NEW iphone, i started experimenting the “FAILURE_SIGNATURE_NOT_VERIFIABLE”, and i was told that the private key was stored in the OLD phone, so i had basically lost all the currency.
i manage to find the OLD phone (which was erased by someone) and thought nothing could be done.
but i restored the OLD phone with an old back up from itunes (back up i did on that old phone months ago) and once it was loaded with this old back up, i entered the app and the private key was shown. so from my understanding, itunes keep the “hidden files” if you back up from the original phones, but you need to input manually on the new ones to have a full functioning wallet.

Yes it does, but only if you restore the backup copy in the same phone that you made it with.
If you reload it on a different phone you wont have access to your private key.
I hace to say thats quite impressive from Apple (at least for me that I have limited knowledge on thia front).

I recovered the old version on my phone, on the old phone. The problem i’m
having now is that the app crashes immediately after I enter in the
password. I could look at how much currency I had before I recovered it,
but now it just crashes. I wonder if it could be that I recovered my phone
at my house on my wifi, but when the app was downloading I was at a
different wifi spot.
