Symbol Reward programs, launch date?

The Symbol supermodels program is afaik still under test.
The official Symbol web page still states that the reward programs are not started. Reward Programs — Symbol Documentation

Since @DaveH is no longer in role as communicator, nothing gets answered in the forum on this topic.

Whoever is in charge for the rewards programs, please provide some indications why the programs are not yet launched and how the community can assist, besides running test nodes.

That is because nobody is bumping/asking questions anymore. (and nobody is, as we’ve briefely answered this on discord already, just nobody summarized it here).

There will be no supernodes program for symbol nodes, block rewards itself should already be good incentive to run the nodes. We’ve made analysis, and running Symbol node yields much bigger profits than running NEM nodes (even if you include NEM Supernodes program).

Instead of supernodes program for symbol nodes there probably will be some incentive to run voting nodes. Can’t give you any details as of now, as we still haven’t transitioned.

No one has anything against a Discord channel. But this must never happen at the expense of the rest of the community.
Official messages must be shared via the official channels.
If the core devs doesn’t think this is necessary, then you shouldn’t be surprised at the lack of questions.
