XEM Network is the Problem Not The Exchangers

I made a deposit from Spectrocoin to Poloniex since 4 days ago, it has not shown on poloniex account but visible on NEM Network. A friend of mine made a deposit from NEM Wallet to Poloniex within the same time and it hit his Poloniex account within hours. NEM wallet works fine sending to exchangers but from exchangers to exchangers is the problem.

I think NEM need to look into that and bring a permanent solution because many NEM users out there are frustrated with same problem. I urge NEM to work on this setback. Many depends on that for livelihood and keeping them waiting without immediate solution will dent your coin and Cryptocurrency in general.

You just precisely outlined why it has nothing to do with NEM and everything to do with the incompetent exchanges. It’s entirely under their control and they’re the ones doing nothing.

Hello @yomight this is not a problem with NEM network.
Problem with Spectrocoin.com withdraw send directly to other exchanges (Bittrex / Poloniex and so on) is known and I have reported it 20.12 to Spectrocoin because many users complain.
Today I get an answer that spectrocoin developer is watching this issue and try to figure out why only transactions from they exchange are not processed by other exchanges.
So please don’t put responsibility for NEM.

If Spectrocoin fix this of course this don’t help you. You must create ticket to Poloniex, provide transaction hash and ask for refund because tokens are on they wallet.

@gentlemand Please kindly explain or illustrate how it has nothing to do with NEM. If a transaction can occur within your network and money is being lost for months within your network and all you could say is that the exchangers your gave authority to represent you by giving their clients your wallet addresses which does not accept your coins are incompetent. It will be wise to evoke their right to your network rather than letting them cause chaos to the detriment of your coin.

I believe you understand my point. This is a financial world and it has to be carefully manage with competent hands rather than just allowing anyone just because its an exchanger. What is trending all over the internet and all over the exchangers across the continent is how bad NEM and their exchangers are.

I believe in NEM and I want to see a topnotch in their services not what we currently experiencing.

Cryptocurrencies are decentralised you can’t just revoke rights.

I have done all possibility to get to Poloniex but they wont reply Tickets. I also followed up with the ticket on their twitter account but still no reply.

@yomight your transaction and other users sending from Spectrocoin to other exchange looks in explorer OK. That’s why I report this to analyze by Spectrocoin.

BTW. Transaction in blockchain is irreversible and the only owner of the private key can do the transaction. Please add this two facts and you will understand why NEM can only speak with exchanges. If you choose exchange where support is mega slow it’s not a fault of NEM. Of course, many exchanges have problem with customer service because a flow of new users but still you can’t push responsibility to NEM.

You’re telling us that it’s showing fine in the network which it always will.

Where the problem comes is the exchange crediting that to your account which is a final manual step completely down to them. They’re the ones who can’t be bothered to do it in a timely manner.

There’s nothing else to discuss.

I have same problems, i did transfer a quite big amount of nem from spectrocoin to poloinex on 31 of december, transaction appear on the nem network message was ok all ok, no tokens on my poloniex wallet and of course still not answer from poloniex. Nem hit his maximum and i was not able to trade since my nem are “lost” inside that wallet. It is incredibly frustrating. Please let me know if you will solve it and how. I guess the only way it is to wait from an answer from the support bat can be months and it is absolutely unaxeptable

There is problem with sending directly from spectrocoin.com to other exchange. What you can do is to contact with Poloniex, provide transaction hash and ask for manually credit this transaction to your Poloniex account.
