Alright… prices have leveled out for XEM across the exchanges… lets see if they suddenly have the problems “fixed”

Still not in my balances, but showing my deposit history and it say “Confirmed”.

If you’re right, their technical difficulties will evaporate and our funds will magically be released. Did somebody say “class action”?

i agree its shamefull that they even not answer not support nothing and 40 hours dor me with out my money

Cryptopia have been upgrading their wallet systems. The confirmed but no available balance issue is an issue they are aware of and are fixing.

The best method is run up on em ballied up and demand a download.

Cryptopia’s page did not warn me that there were any XEM issues when I made my deposit. It is still accepting deposits. The Coin Info page says the XEM wallet is “OK”. This is, in my view, at least negligent. A month to withdraw in crypto is, in my view, unreasonable.

Cryptopia should, when accepting deposits, say something to the effect of “you may not be able to access your deposit for a month.”

Cryptopia can reasonably foresee that a depositor will lose a lot of value in a month, so its failure to warn, when accepting deposits (on which, yes, it does earn money) is probably actionable as a delict / tort and in contract. The fact that thousands of depositors are out of pocket means that it is not taking reasonable steps to prevent this from happening (either refusing new sign-ups / deposits / or fixing their technical issues).

If on the other hand this was deliberate then we’re talking fraud and criminal liability.

Let’s see what the Disputes Tribunal says. I’ve lodged a claim.

A class action might only get cents back on the dollar, depending on how much money Cryptopia has (or its directors, in the event that there has been reckless trading).

Of course I’m impatient and angry. I’m losing money by the minute. I don’t care how I come across, I certainly don’t need to impress this exchange or you.

Should I be happy and serene that Cryptopia retains my funds and causes me financial loss? Is that really what you’re saying?

Should I accept Cryptopia’s non-explanations to my repeated inquiries?

A counterclaim? Based on what?

I have had no warnings of possible delays. I can’t be expected to trawl through forums or scour the website before making a deposit.

You cannot seriously believe that it’s okay that Cryptopia is sitting on so many deposits for so long? This is systemic, and not confined to XEM.
