Exchange Support. Lost XEM at an exchange? Post here! [MOVED]

Your frustration is understand but you must be joking now, right?

First of all if you think that they didn’t notice hundreds of emails on they support? They probably all or half of them was on vacation at this time.

Secondary I have same contact as you with exchange. Do you think they will response to me but not to all users who have written to them via forum, support ticket, Twitter and other communication channels?

Third I also have written ticket to them but no response.

Fourth our member plan to meet with CEO of Cryptopia exchange to avoid these situation in future.

Fifth - Cryptopia is independent company and you trust them sending your coins. So you should explain with Cryptopia what happen. If you have problem with BTC you also blame Bitcoin team? If someone don’t want return your USD you are going blame currency emitter?

I’m regular investor like you who don’t get any regular payment for helping people (yes in my opinion I’m helping) and answering here what user should do to have biggest chances to return missing coins.

If you still think we/I done nothing - it’s your opinion.

Месяц назад с данной валютой “KRB” произошел схожий инцидент как с “ХЕМ” на Криптопии, только на Украинской бирже. Из за ошибки биржи монеты на сумму 10 000 долларов были распределены на неверные кошельки (утеряны).
Обдумав все, общиной “Karbo” было принято - из своих сбережений выделить утерянные монеты бирже.
Тем самым отстоять свою репутацию перед пользователями.
Из за таких действий растет рейтинг и репутация монеты. Когда пользователь знает, что за монетами стоит не только желание заработать, а ответственность и нравственность.

Hello, I made an error transferring XEM from my Nanowallet to the HitBTC exchange. I meant to send DimCoin as a mosaic but for whatever reason XEM was sent as the mosaic instead.

The Tx ID is: 4ad7674fdf31c4417778e509c377f65122bae3cfbbfd87724bc2f807de9623bf

I have opened a ticket with their support,the number is Ticket ID #124189.

If you could provide some guidance or assist in any way, I would appreciate it as this represents a substantial portion of my XEM holdings. I will also contribute in advance if it will help at all. Please let me know if any additioanl information is needed.

Coins are on exchange wallet. They have access to it. And they should credit missing deposits and send missing withdraws.

Yes, I could see them on the block explorer which makes me somewhat hopeful. My real concern is the response from the exchange. I know they don’t have the best reputation and I’m not sure if that is justified or not, but I’m sure they are overwhelmed like every other exchange. Any tips for getting a little bit higher on their list?

If you already provided transaction hash and information that xem was sent by mistake sent as mosaics they should have all informations to return your coins. I’m not sure how fast hitbtc answers.

Ok thanks. I have not had any response from them other than the automated service that replies to opening a ticket. If I do, I will update the thread. I was hoping someone might know someone there.

Unfortunately I don’t know. Don’t forget add address where have you sent because dimcoin deposit address is different than xem.

I gave them the Tx ID as well as my XEM address where the coins came from. I was worried because of the whole mosaic thing. My understanding is that the Dim address is a XEM address on the NEM blockchain. This is correct, yes?

This is address in NEM blockchain. But please attach also recipient address because they can look in xem deposit wallet (they have other than for dimcoin). This is rare situation that someone send xem as mosaic but I think they should know how it works because they list dimcoin.

Thank you, I will update the ticket info. Do you think it might be worthwhile to try working through the Dim team as well? They may have more direct contact with the exchange. I’ll end this here, but thanks for keeping hope alive.

Yes they should have direct contact with developer or other contact in hitbtc. You can try but I don’t know if they share it with you. But maybe they have also contact to support. There is telegram channel @dimcoinICO and reddit.com subforum.

I believe action would mean a lot of people that have trouble -XEM-cryptopia-situation-.
Before it become completely out of control. (and yes even now, the issue is way out of control for the people who get in trouble)

Any of you guys get clear answer from Cryptopia that they don’t credit or return missing deposit or don’t send missing withdraw?

As far as I know nobody got there XEMS from Cryptopia.
They don’t respond to the support tickets aswell.

im using the nem wallet +, but for android mobile… i dont know where to

They do not answer anyone so much for deposit and withdrawal. They do not report anything, in any media only in their forum other members in the same situation :confused:
