Hi All,

On 28th of November, my friend used Changelly to exchange ether classic into XEM then send it to his coincheck account.

Changelly did not provide any box to enter the “nem message” which i guess is some kind of special code you guys use.

My question is: Is the NEM message actually required for his transaction to be completed?

So far nothing has arrived in his coincheck account.

I guess the only people who can retrieve his XEM are coincheck. Is this correct?

I sent 4000 xem to my bittrex account 5 days ago and my Bittrex account has not yet received it. Although it became a confirmed transaction in my NEM wallet immediately. I am hoping to find out what is going on. I have reached out to Bittrex support and received a request #, I have received no response, beyond their acknowlegement. I was hoping to confirm on this (NEM) end that I didn’t sent it to the wrong exchange or an incorrect wallet address or something could be fixed from this end.

The reason why your transaction is not processed by Bittrex is that you forget add message code required by exchange to automatically process transaction.
Information about this is on bittrex deposit page.

What you can do is contact with bittrex support and provide transaction hash:

Unfortunetly last days I hear many complains abiut speed of Bittrex support. But only thing what you can do is wait I guess…

Thank you for the help. I guess I did NOT provide the required hash number. I have now provided it and hope that Bittrex will process it soon. Wow! I didn’t know these things could happen. On their FAQ, they are saying it could take up to 4 weeks for them to put the XEM in my account and that FAQ was made before this recent uptick in alt coin interest, so hopefully I don’t miss out on too much.

I contacted Yobit they didn’t resolve the issue yet.

But the status in Changelly is still showing “Waiting for Payment” - why?!

@arie1985uk all looks ok from point on view NEM transaction. You should contact with changelly support. They should explain this. Please also include link with transaction which you already post above.

I already sent them a message about it, I wonder when they would bother to respond.
