Below msg is from Huobi admin on telegram:-1:
Bill~Sr.Director @Huobi:
first of all… Deposit label has been disable because we do not wanna customers keep depositing NEM even though we publicated a official notice however a lot of users did not notice it often. … second of all today tech team has been dealing with over 1000 NEM deposit… keep working on it
They have disabled the XEM depost option, but not provided any clear picture when they are going to deposit our XEM,team its a small victory for us,we have saved many people from getting scammed, but still the job is pending, spread their negative news on all the social platforms, need to put pressure on this bastards…
Thanks for the update. I noticed they disabled it as well…wish they did that 24 hours ago and my money wouldn’t have been stuck. Oh well I shouldn’t complain, many of you have it much worse than I do especially since you haven’t been able to trade it nearly a month. I will be happy as long as I get the credit for my deposit relatively soon but one thing is for sure I’m never using Huobi again after this. I’ve also learned a valuable lesson…If an arbitrage trade seems too good to pass up there’s probably a damn good reason why.
Also I love how the SR. DIRECTOR acts like it’s his customers fault for depositing a coin that they have “temporarily” suspended but have not DISABLED deposits on. Honestly who is going to read through 3 pages of announcements just to get to February 20th and see that they have frozen XEM deposits. I sure as hell didn’t think to.
Edit: Thanks for the update agusbtc. They should have said…“Please pay attention to a blog post we made 2 weeks ago in a section of the website that no one on our site thinks to read because we put it so far down the page that no one notices it’s there. Not to mention you have to go through 3 pages of worthless announcements before you get to anything about XEM being suspended. It’s your fault for not knowing that we hid this in the announcement section which isn’t even in the main content of the website. It’s your fault that we didn’t put the announcement anywhere useful that users would see when depositing and it’s your fault we didn’t disable the deposit button”. I’ve seen some idiotic companies before but Huobi is worse than any I have seen.
Edit 2: I have to edit this post to reply because it won’t let me post anymore replies. iMMaFieNd - A recharge is the ChEnglish word for deposit or refilling your account with another deposit. That is how I understood it anyway, I could be wrong.
This is the answer I received today from the support mail:
Hello, XEM recharge has been suspended, you can view the message in the fire currency, after the opening of fire XEM your assets will be deposited in your asset, please pay attention to the announcement,
Lol, that’s the same thing they said to me. What the fuck is a recharge anyway? Do they mean funds being verified as not being part of the XEM that was hacked? Either way I call bullshit. Sounds like the hack was an inside job and this is just being done in order to inflate the price of NEM. Their English translations are superb, I must say (cough) Not.
Deposit label has been disable because we do not wanna customers keep depositing NEM
Look how they care about their customers! If you ever wondered if life is possible without a brain, look at Huobi staff.
This is all because of you guys, for not giving up. We saved future victims and that’s already a small victory.
How much should we now wait for our deposits
until huobi earns enough money by trading our xem
The story doesn’t make sense anymore.
First they left deposit open because it was NEM official orders, not under Huobi control.
Now, Huobi disables it because they care so much about their customers.
1+1=3
Why does not the NEM society interfere?
Because they are a big part of this, there is one guy on this forum who has contact with the team (or has inside information) and he disappeared about a week ago from this post @CryptoBeliever
oh God,.
yesterday I deposited my XEM too
withdrawal from Hitbtc to Huobi.pro.
but till now, my XEM didn’t show up in Huobi…
Welcome mzrz
Good job people! In any case, no new victims can be made. The next step is to get our XEM back and be compensated. Please stick to the facts and don’t let emotions take over so we can keep a clean post and help each other. I posted several tweets at NEM and Huobi these weeks. Keep pressure on both through social media as well!
@kingjardan I didn’t disapper. As you can see I’m quite active in the forum.
I don’t have any information from Huobi to share and I don’t want guessing what they are doing.
Guessing and making speculations is the worst what can be done in this situation.
I’m waiting for official Huobi announcement with information when deposits will be credited. I also made some test deposit and I’m checking when it arrives.
I’m not guessing and making speculations, just telling how it is. You do have more information than us, you’re just being the same centralized gangster like NEM. There is no place in future blockchain space for the company you’re supporting just so you know.
dear @CryptoBeliever can u help me check my xem trx hash,
I’m new to this crypto world, n my xem stuck depositing to huobi
tx hash: e3e92de51f3e877ac8ab652e2305e5be21cc53273d10f87015f8ee2d49b8282c
is it normal or not? it’s been 24 hour now…
thx
why the Nem team, posts how they care about the customers of coincheck and care about compensation, but does not voice the problem with huobi at all? Huobi still claims that everything that happens is not their fault, but it’s all a Nem problem.
@kingjardan If you want to discuss with me on this level, I will not comment on it. I’m simple user like you on this forum. I started interesting NEM because I bought some couple months ago. I also started answering here for people problems with exchangesc or other technical stuff. People like you are more and more convincing me to stop. Trust me, I do not have any profits from answering here on forum. I can stop without any financial losses. And I answering you now when I’m sitting in my daily job as java developer. I understand anger you have but I don’t know any more details than Huobi is telling in official announcements or on support. I don’t know if authorities ask them to stop deposits because of stolen coins or they have other reason to hold deposits them. That’s why I don’t want make any speculation on this topic and I’m waiting for official Huobi announcements.
If my deposit arrives or Huobi will announce sth I will write in this topic for sure but probably because there is a lot people here affected by this problem someone will do it before me.
@mzrz I’m afraid you are in same position like most of people here. We must wait for announcement from Huobi.
