Exchange Support. Lost XEM at an exchange? Post here! [MOVED]

@SNEM
You should attach unencrypted message to bittrex transaction. This message should contain message code provided by Bittrex. Without it transaction can’t be automatically processed.
You must contact with Bittrex support and provide transaction hash. They should return your tokens.

Thnx but I did provide the message from Bittrex in the transaction. After this transaction the NEM wallet immediately send out a second empty transaction. It looks like the NEM wallet did not function correctly

@SNEM you provide message code but you send encrypted. It should be unencrypted.

@CryptoBeliever that certainly is not something I did unintentionally because I didn’t know that it existed. I have taken a look at the UI of NEM wallet and see a small grey button with the text ‘ENC’ above the send button. If me, accident enabling this button while trying to send my transaction causes the hickup perhaps this essential feature should me moved in the UI because at this position my guess is that it will create a lot of question and failing transfers.

@SNEM Yes. Mobile wallet is more minimalistic. I agree it can be done by mistake. You can rise issue with change proposal on github if it was in IOS wallet (in Android looks the same) https://github.com/NemProject/NEMiOSApp
In new desktop wallet 2.0 it will be warning when try send encrypted message to exchange. But already it’s more clear because it’s additional checkbox name encrypted.

hello admin i send NEM or XEM using my depotwallet to cryptopia but its only 2 XEM received in my cryptopia account. First i send 10 XEM, second is 5 XEM and last is 2,840 XEM. This is url that i send, http://chain.nem.ninja/#/transfer/b962aa70d4218a2e86cf0a68f57e1e4758b5062117ac547c082cf0f2da3a6a22

Hello @ladycrypto
You should not use depotwallet for sending XEM to exchange. It sends XEM as mosaic and exchange could not process this transaction.
You must contact with exchange support and provide transaction hash + information that XEM was by mistake send as
second level mosaics.

Could you give transaction id ?

Hi there,

I bought some XEM yesterday on Cryptopia, and sent to my nem wallet. On Cryptopia it says the transaction is complete, but i still don’t see my coins in the wallet. Any chance you can help?

Hello @Carolina_Silveira
If transaction is not visible in blockchain explorer (you can find by transaction id) http://explorer.ournem.com/#/ that’s mean you must contact with Cryptopia support because transaction is not valid.
It was couple similar issues with Cryptopia last days.

what should i message to the support of cryptopia. please help me

You should link this two transactions in Cryptopia support ticket:

http://chain.nem.ninja/#/transfer/b962aa70d4218a2e86cf0a68f57e1e4758b5062117ac547c082cf0f2da3a6a221

And you should tell that XEM was sent by mistake as second level mosaic from deptowallet.
It can bee seen:

Mosaic: nem.xem
Total Quantity 2840.000000

If you like you can redirect support guy to this topic (please link your post directly). He can also ask me question if they like because this is not standard user error.
